Peter Turner

Peter Turner was born in Liverpool in 1952.  He joined the National Youth Theatre at age 16 and has acted extensively in the theatre, television and films ever since. His work includes seasons at the Glasgow Citizens Theatre, the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, the Liverpool Playhouse and in new plays on the London fringe. His roles have included Alan Strang in Equus, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, and leading roles in television plays and serials; for three years, he played Terry Adams in the popular television series Spearhead.  His film work includes That'll be the Day, The Comeback, Derek Jarman's The Tempest, Runners, The Krays, amongst others. Peter was selected for the Carlton's Screenwriters' Course in 1993.
