Guy Slater's career has spanned acting, directing and producing both for television and theatre, as well as writing. He has written many television and radio plays, a children's novel, edited three other books and adapted or translated two stage plays both of which have been widely performed. He is currently writing an adult novel, a love story, remotely based on fact, involving the Moscow Art Theatre and the Russian Civil War. He lives in London.
