Kate Burt

Kate Burt is a freelance journalist covering broad range of features topics as well as specialising in interiors. She writes a weekly column 'The Insider' in the Independent on Sunday's New Review magazine, and edits the similarly-themed blog Yourhomeislovely.com.

Aside from that, she's written for all sorts – from the Guardian, the Telegraph and the Times, to Cosmopolitan and Psychologies (and just to really mix it up, the Crufts Magazine too).

She has also covered everything from Brixton gangs to the murky side of Neuro Linguistic Programming, the (surprisingly gripping) history of landfill, the Femidom’s unlikely fanbase in certain parts of Africa, erotic autobiographies, old-man pubs, the Street Pastors preaching peace on Murder Mile and bizarre one-man bands. And amazingly claims still to be quite sane.
