Jean Kitson

Jean represents screenwriters and directors working in film and television drama and comedy (including children's television), as well as radio and theatre writers. She started producing fringe plays and musicals before getting a proper job in TV drama development, working for various companies on high-end drama specials.  She joined MBA in 1999 and is passionate about nurturing new talent as well as the ongoing development and support of established writers and directors.  She is looking for strong and interesting voices with a depth and breadth of stories to be told.  She prefers writers and directors to have some experience, whether it be self-produced plays, radio commissions or short films.
